This summer series will address "getting up and going down"....a whole range of different functions are included in this for flexibility to do so gracefully with minimal effort.

There is always something to learn about our habits and how we hold tension or work too hard. 

Slowing down and giving ourselves space has great benefits not only for our posture, mobility and flexibility, but also nourishes our nervous system to be calm and responsive.  It also thrives with this open and curious approach, making new connections and supporting both our physical and mental health.

Each class is different whilst addressing a range of movements, balance and breathing. Our breathing deepens as a result of releasing pressures and tensions.

A mindful attention raises self-awareness and with insights, change happens.

There are challenges but no-one is asked to go beyond their comfort zone.  Most of the movements are in lying where we receive greater support from the floor, encouraging our nervous system to be less vigilant.  However there are times we move to standing, sitting or kneeling.

This is not exercise but provides opportunities to learn and discover what works for you.  One of the key principles is to reduce effort: there is no need to force anything. 

This is a friendly group with the aim to promote a positive experience which influences daily living, reviving and refreshing vitality.
