Take time and space to befriend yourself, becoming more acquainted with how you move in a variety of guided movement practices.
The intention for these classes is to learn skills to help restore mind-body balance.
Movements will be in lying, sitting and standing, using the approaches of Feldenkrais and Qigong.
These naturally have an impact on our breathing patterns, allowing us to rest more into stillness and to discover easier, less effortful activity.
Our mind and body are separate only in naming them and in using our attention and awareness, we are allowing ourselves an opportunity to work gently with our whole selves.
The meditative quality is integral to the movement practice but short meditation practices will be included.
